Finally a music project serious and long lasting in the Sorrento Peninsula, a unique opportunity to bring children to musical instruments or to improve skills in Stage Music in conjunction with industry professionals.
All no cost to participants, because the project was funded by the ANCI (Association National Italian Municipalities) and the towns of Sorrento, Massa Lubrense, Vico Equense in collaboration with the associations of the area: Sorrento Young Ass , Asst City Band of Massa Lubrense, New Age-Ass.Giovani Equani and Jazz'รจ.
The project aims at ensuring the establishment of a Young Band will participate in the creation of a soundtrack Unpublished. May apply for participation by the children of the Sorrento Peninsula 14 to 30 years, participants will total a maximum of 30 (with the possibility of including some listeners if the questions are many.)
The students selected will be divided into two classes:
"Beginners": children with basic musical experience which will be offered courses aimed at learning a musical instrument.
"Intermediates" guys with wider musical experience which will be offered the opportunity to interact with other young musicians through Stage Ensemble.
The project will last 6-8 months and will conclude with a live performance, with special guests, in the month of December 2011
Both lessons for the class "Beginners", that internships for class "Intermediates" are entirely free, in addition, the participants of the class "Beginners" will be offered the loan of a musical instrument. All participants will be given a kit with the necessary lessons.
