L'uomo, divenuto così stanziale, non permetteva a nessun altro di accedere nel proprio territorio. Da li la necessità di circondare, coprire, occultare ad occhi estranei l'intimità domestica per non renderla appetibile a nessuno.
Vicino alla gelosia bisogna accostare anche il sentimento di vergogna. Mostrarsi nudi è vergognoso. Tempo fa feci un video dove, mostrando le mie "vergogne", mi "misi a nudo" parlando delle bollette da pagare . Gran parte della gente avrebbe un po' di reticenza a "scoprire" intimi particolari della propria vita privata.
Nella nostra società capitalistica e competitiva, mostrare le proprie debolezze può essere pericoloso. Infatti, tutti tendono a coprirsi, a dare un'immagine di se forte e migliore. Mai far trapelare difetti, mai mostrare il fianco perché c'è sempre qualcuno che se ne approfitta.
